When you join JAA Online Private School you join the JAA family. Before classes ever begin you’ll have an orientation where your family will meet our staff and we get to know you. Our program is enriched by interaction with teachers and other scholars during live class sessions and study groups. Scholars build relationships with mentors during office hours and ongoing support.
Online scholars enrolled in our tuition-free charter option enjoy the option of participating in after-school enrichments, sports, social activities, and field trips, at their associated in-person campus.
In addition to the strong community fostered with online scholars and mentors, JAA Online Private School students enjoy the flexibility to cultivate meaningful relationships with friends and family in their own communities. With the ability to organize their own enrichment activities, participate in sports, join clubs, engage in church groups, and schedule meet-ups, students can balance their academic pursuits with a rich social life and local involvement.
Making learning come alive through hands on experiences is an essential component of John Adams Academy’s Online program. A number of field trips are organized throughout the school year. At the beginning of each school year, families can sign up for the field trips they’d like to attend using the Canvas catalog system and their scholars email address. Field trip costs are covered for scholars and one parent/guardian per trip by the Academy. Additional siblings not enrolled in the online program and guardians may attend if space is available and at the expense of the family. Field trips are aligned with the academy science, history, and literature curriculum. Field trips are provided across multiple grades so families with multiple scholars can easily attend.
