Julia (Jules) Milius

Julia (Jules) Milius

High School Art

Jules Milius discovered a love for art at a young age and began a serious study of the craft while earning a BFA at BYU-Idaho’s art department. Guided by the mentorship of talented artists and illustrators and leveraging the wealth of knowledge available through online classes, Jules has honed their skills and is excited to share these tools and techniques with scholars.

Jules was drawn to John Adams Academy's emphasis on empowering scholars to take active leadership roles in their own education. As the legendary Chuck Jones once said, “Every artist has thousands of bad drawings in them, and the only way to get rid of them is to draw them out,” a principle Jules embraces and instills in their teaching.
