Biography

Cassie Anderson currently teaches Transitional Kindergarten (TK) scholars at JAA Online. Her passion for fostering virtue in early childhood education brought her to John Adams Academy in 2020. She taught TK for two years and kindergarten for one year at the Lincoln campus before transitioning to her second year of teaching TK in the online program.  

Cassie holds a B.A. in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Biblical Theology. She is passionate about teaching our youngest scholars, with a focus on developing socio-emotional skills and character.  

Her own PreK-12 classical education inspired her to join John Adams Academy, as she deeply values the academy’s mission to develop servant leaders. Cassie’s love for homeschooling, her experience teaching online during the pandemic, and her growing family also motivated her to join the JAA Online program. She treasures the close relationships she builds with families in the online setting and is committed to partnering with parents to support their scholars.  

One of her favorite classics is Love You Forever by Robert Munsch, which her dad used to read to her before bed as a reminder of how loved and special she was. She now shares this cherished story with her class and with her 1½-year-old son, passing on its heartfelt message to the next generation.
