Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, John Adams Academy Online Private is proud to partner with Arizona as a ClassWallet vendor for the Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account Program. 

Parents have the right to choose what’s best for their family and have their education tax dollars pay for the school that meets their child’s needs. Empowerment Scholarship Accounts (ESA) make that possible.

With the ESA program, the money that would pay for that scholar’s education in a neighborhood school follows that student to whichever school the parents choose for their child, including education at home.

ESA dollars may be used for:

Empower Your Child’s Education

In 2011, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey signed legislation creating the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program, with universal eligibility added in 2022 through HB 2853. This initiative, now serving over 86,000 students as of February 2025, offers Arizona families the freedom to personalize their child’s education. The program provides an average of $7,000 to $8,000 per K-12 student annually—more for students with special needs—to cover qualified education expenses like private school tuition, tutoring, curricula, online programs, and more.  

Designed to empower parents, this law enhances your ability to choose the best educational path for your child while complementing Arizona’s robust public school system. Available year-round, the program deposits funds quarterly into an education savings account via ClassWallet, making it simple to explore a variety of learning options tailored to your student’s unique needs.
